Clothing suggestions for corporate Head Shots:
•Make sure all clothing is cleaned and wrinkle free.
•Wear clothing that fits well.
•For a professional look, wear long sleeves.
•Colours: Choose solid colours (checks, polka dots, floral patterns can be distracting).
•Avoid stark white (unless it is under a jacket) and solid black.
•Wear colours that are contrasting to your skin and accentuate you eyes.
•Jewel tones usually work well.
Ladies:
•Jewellery and accessories should accent you outfit, and not be distracting to the overall photograph.
•Bare arms and shoulders will distract from your face, avoid spaghetti-strap tops and sleeveless blouses.
•Simple necklines draw attention to the face.
•Makeup: Avoid shiny eye shadows or lip gloss.
•Choose lip and eye shadow colours that are one or two shades darker than your skin tone.
